Glenn Mattson, an analyst at Ladenburg Thalmann, said in a research note to investors that sentiment in the cannabis sector is “very low.”
Mattson talks about too few stores, especially in Ontario, which is the largest province in Canada. Ontario has only 25 stores versus more than 300 in Alberta.
The analyst believes that 2020 will be promising with the arrival of edible drinks and products of Cannabis 2.0
Mattson still has a buy recommendation on Canopy Growth, Aurora Cannabis and Acreage Holdings.
